PURPOSE: Pharmaceutical composition including baicalin is provided to relieve the damage of Hippocampus nerve revival property due to the irradiation of radiation and effectively prevent or cure all kinds of neurological diseases such as loss of the learning ability and memory. CONSTITUTION: Pharmaceutical composition for preventing the damage or extinction of Hippocampus neural stem cell due to the radiation exposure comprises Baicalein which indicated as[Chemical formula 1]or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt. The pharmaceutical composition increases the level of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) which had decreased within the brain tissue due to the irradiation of radiation.
