PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin modifier for PET capable of maintaining tensile elongation at break while preventing great reduction in tensile strength at break of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and capable of improving impact strength.SOLUTION: A resin modifier for PET is composed of 20-50 wt.% of a polyester elastomer composition (A') and 80-50 wt.% of a thermoplastic resin (B) non-compatible with PET. The polyester elastomer composition (A') includes a polyester elastomer (A) consisting of a high melting point crystalline polymer segment (a1) consisting of a crystalline aromatic polyester and a low melting polymer segment (a2) consisting of an aliphatic polyether unit and/or an aliphatic polyester unit. A relative viscosity (at 25°C, with the use of an OCP solution of 0.005 g/mL) of the polyester elastomer (A) is 1.55-1.80. |
