PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make wiring work for communication between a cubicle and a building unnecessary and introduce a demand control system in an existing facility of a small-scale user such as a shop at a low price.SOLUTION: A demand control system 11 in a shop comprises: a measuring unit 12 for measuring power used by a load apparatus 5; a monitoring unit 13 for outputting a demand control command if a measured value of used power is expected to exceed a target value; a control unit 14 for controlling operation of the load apparatus 5 in response to the demand command; a browsing unit 15 for browsing a setting value, power usage history, and the like; and a communication unit 16 for connecting to an external management server 17 via a network. The measuring unit 12 is installed in a housing 31 of a cubicle 3, an antenna 35 is provided on the outer surface of the housing 31, and measured data of used power is transmitted to the monitoring unit 13 in a building 2 by radio communication. |
