PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working efficiency of a worker wearing a helmet.SOLUTION: A ventilation space A communicating with the outside through a peripheral part of a cap body is formed between a cap body 12 and a liner 14 which is arranged on an inner face of the cap body 12. The ventilation space is used as a mounting location of a fan motor 18. The fan motor 18 is mounted in a place near the front of the ventilation space A so that the blowing direction is toward a front peripheral part of the cap body 12. Thus, air blown from the fan motor 18 smoothly flows from the peripheral part of the cap body 12 toward an extending direction of the cap body 12. This air flow is spurted like a sheet from the front peripheral part of the cap body 12 so as to form a so called air curtain CA in front of the face of a helmet wearer. The air curtain CA works as a partition wall for shielding approaching dust or the like such as rubbish or dirt in front of the face of the wearer using the sheet-like air flow. |
