PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell manufacturing method which can form an AR film and a base film which have high abrasion resistance on a flat glass substrate without performing high-temperature firing when the AR film and the base film are formed under a high humidity condition.SOLUTION: The solar cell manufacturing method comprises: forming an antireflection film 113 on one surface of a substrate 111 using a transparent flat glass which consists mainly of SiO; forming a base film 112 on an opposite surface; forming a transparent conductive film 12 on the base film 112; and forming a photoelectric conversion unit 3 and a back electrode 4 on the transparent conductive film 12. The antireflection film 113 is formed by coating a coating liquid including transparent fine particles, a transparent binder and an organic solvent on a transparent flat glass substrate 111 in an environment marked by humidity of atmosphere at 45% RH and over. In addition, a Sn constituent in a surface composition of a coated surface of the antireflection film 113 on the transparent flat glass substrate 111 is 0.2 wt% and under. |
