The invention relates to construction, in particular to bar constructional elements made from high-strength composite material. A periodic profile bar made from a composite fibrous material comprises a bearing core, an insert element wound in a spiral spinning thereon and a coaxially disposed relief-forming shell, wherein the bearing core is formed either by a ply of longitudinal fibers or by one or several coaxial longitudinal plies, each of which is strapped down with a yarn ply disposed in a spiral spinning, the insert element is made of fibrous or other high-strength cord materials, the bearing core and the relief-forming shell are formed from longitudinal fibers impregnated with polymer binder, the relief-forming shell is built around the core in the form of a tube, the relief out of grooves and ridges is made by corrugation of the relief-forming shell by means of its compression and pressure to the core with compressive cords or yarns in a spiral spinning. A method of a bar formation is carried out in three successive stages: at first a bearing core, an insert element, and a relief-forming shell in the form of a tube are formed, the formation of the relief surface is made by corrugation of the relief-forming shell by means of its compression and pressure to the core, subsequent spiral winding with compressive cords or yarns between turns of the insert element. The periodic profile bar made of a composite fibrous material has an improved strength, high anchor properties, reliability and more durable service time.
