PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing inner surface rubber lining butterfly valve capable of repairing a valve box valve seat which is inexpensive, has preferable workability and further has durability.SOLUTION: A butterfly valve includes a valve box, a valve shaft which penetrates the valve box in a radial direction and a valve body which attaches the valve shaft in the center radial direction, wherein a valve is opened and closed by causing the valve body to rotate via the valve shaft. When a valve body sliding part 4a is damaged by a foreign matter a such as shell, first, high-pressure water is sprayed to a surface of a valve seat and washes the surface to expose a flaw (damage part) b part and the valve body sliding part 4a is scooped out in such a range as to include the total flaw b by a grinder to form a substantial U-shape groove 10. Then, an adhesive is applied to the whole surface inside the groove 10, thereafter, a natural vulcanized rubber repair material 11 is filled to the total groove 10 and the removal of air in the rubber repair material 11 is performed with a roller. When the repair material 11 is cured, a protruded part is ground with the grinder to perform the surfacing. |
