摘要 <p>Provided are a robot and a robot system exhibiting excellent reliability with respect to safety. A robot (1) is provided with; a base (2) fixed to a placement surface (200); and an arm member (4) having a plurality of arm bodies which are sequentially connected from the base about an axis. The arm member has a stopper mechanism having a movable stopper member (81) configured so as to have rotational action around an arm-body axis, said rotational action being restricted to a prescribed rotation range. The stopper mechanism is provided with a fixed stopper member (82) which engages with the movable stopper member.</p>
