The gearbox has a casing cooperating with a pulley (19) rotated by motor units. An input shaft (2) is driven in rotation by the motor units. Engagement units (15-17) are arranged between the input shaft and an output shaft (3), such that rotation of the input shaft drives the output shaft. The pulley is mounted pivotingly with respect to the casing along a diametrical axis of the pulley. The input shaft is equipped with a forward gear driving disc (6), a reverse gear driving disc (7) and a variable speed drive comprising a crown gear (8) and a radial fork (9).
