PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent plastic cover for ultraviolet-light lamps which is superior in the transmittance of ultraviolet light in a wavelength range of 300-400 nm, less prone to be deteriorated by ultraviolet light, and excellent in the ability of preventing the glass splash of an induction light.SOLUTION: The cover for ultraviolet-light lamps is formed from a polycarbonate resin including a carbonate unit (A) represented by the formula below, and a carbonate unit (B) derived from at least one compound selected from a group consisting of an aliphatic diol compound and an alicyclic diol compound, and having a molar ratio (A/B) of the unit (A) to the unit (B) of 15/85 to 95/5. |
