PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which, even when an image to be read is deteriorated, prints a final print obtained by overwriting, in an easy-to-see state.SOLUTION: The image formation apparatus comprises: a document reading unit which is provided within the image formation apparatus to read an image of a document transported within the image formation apparatus; a pattern matching unit of a deterioration detection unit which detects deterioration of the image quality of the document read by the document reading unit; a host computer which generates a correction image to correct a pixel of the document in which the deterioration of image quality is detected by the pattern matching unit, and generates an image with which the document is to be overwritten; and a CPU which controls image information means for forming images. The CPU overprints the document with an image obtained by adding the overprint image and correction image generated by the host computer (S1503 to S1507). |
