PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photoactive coating film-carrying body excellent in strength, wet resistance, antibacterial property and corrosion resistance and free from the deterioration of photoactivity by forming a photoactive coating film on the surface of a carrying body from a titanium dioxide sol prepged by adding a silicate in a titanium dioxide dispersion and sintering. SOLUTION: This photoactive coating film-carrying body arranged to be used in a treating system of a gas line or a water line is produced by forming the photoactive coating film on the surface of the carrying body from the titanium dioxide sol prepared by adding the silicate in the titanium dioxide dispersion and sintering. In such a case, the thickness of the photoactive coating film formed on the surface of the carrying body is controlled to 0.01-2.0 mm and the sintering is performed by treating at 200-700 deg.C for 20-60 min. The quantity of Cu ion and/or silver ton to be added is preferably controlled to 10-100 ppm to the titanium dioxide sol. As the carrying body, glass, glass fiber, metal and the like are used and further a decorative stone such as the NACHIGURO stone and the white cobble stone can be used. |
