<p>The invention relates to the field of medical devices, especially to orthopaedic chairs, which are used for the rehabilitation of the spine and treatment of other diseases. The aim of present invention is to expand the range of use of orthopaedic chairs, to simplify design, reduce labor costs while optimizing production costs. Orthopaedic chair has a seat 1, two flat legs 2, 3, fixed to the seat, and the fastening element 4 in the form of joining board. The parameters of the seat and the transverse legs are chosen such that the load is distributed to the ischial tuberosity of the pelvis of man with the ability to balance on them by the micro movements of the skeletal muscles and symmetric impact loading on the major muscle groups and limbs when sitting down on the seat. Seat is rigidly attached to the legs so that said legs abut against the bottom surface of the seat at an acute angle A in the normalized slope angles of the seat from 7 degrees to 22 degrees to the horizontal plane. In turn, legs are attached to the seat in the direction to each other at an acute angle in the range from 12 degrees to 34 degrees to the plane of the vertical line. Specific design of the chair provides optimum distribution of the force of gravity, excluding clamping of blood vessels and constrictions of nerves. Depending on the extent of the disease the suggested chair can be used as a means of preventing and treating the following diseases: varying degrees of scoliosis, osteochondrosis, lumbago, arthrosis, intervertebral hernia, intercostal neuralgia, paralysis, paresis, decreased muscle tone; posttraumatic dysfunction, digestive disorders, constipation, prostatis, etc.</p> |
