The present invention relates to fermented-ginseng containing increased ginsenoside Rd using pectinase and a preparation method of fermented-red ginseng. The preparation method according to the present invention can economically change the structure of a small amount of ginsenoside Rd contained in ginseng or red ginseng. The present invention allows preparation of fermented-ginseng or fermented-red ginseng which has ginsenoside Rd which has no cytotoxicity, is easily absorbed into the body, and has functional activities.
