PURPOSE: A method for crystallizing variable lymphocyte receptor derived from Agnatha using a hanging-drop vapour diffusion method is provided to enable X-ray analysis and to obtain a single crystal of protein with excellent crystallinity. CONSTITUTION: A method for crystallizing variable lymphocyte receptor derived from Agnatha comprises the step of crystallizing by a hanging-drop vapour diffusion method using polyethylene glycol as a precipitant and Tris-HCl as a buffer solution. The precipitant is 10-55 % (w/v) of polyethylene glycol 4000. The buffer solution is 0.001-10 M of Tris-HCl buffer solution. The pH concentration of the buffer solution is Ph 7.0-9.5. |
