PURPOSE: A stopper rod cooling device for preventing reoxidation is provided to extend a usage lift of the stopper rod by completely blocking inflow of cooling air into a turndish while effectively cooling a washer connection unit to which the stopper rod is fixed. CONSTITUTION: A stopper rod cooling device for preventing reoxidation comprises a closed cooling jacket(700), a stopper rod(500), and an air supply pipe. The closed cooling jacket is included in the upper part of a washer(400) in order to be integrated with the washer fixed in the upper part of a stopper(300) which controls leakage of accommodated molten steel in a turndish(100). A plurality of air discharge holes is formed on one side of the upper surface of the closed cooling jacket. The stopper rod vertically penetrates the center of the cooling jacket and is connected to the washer while lifting the stopper. The air supply pipe is connected to the one upper surface of the cooling jacket and supplies cooling air. |
