A gimbal joint (100) includes a gimbal ring (106), a first fitting (102) pivotally connected to the gimbal ring (106) such that the first fitting (102) pivots about a first axis, and a second fitting (104) pivotally connected to the gimbal ring (106) such that the second fitting (104) pivots about a second axis substantially orthogonal to the first axis. The gimbal ring (106) further includes a separable sealing element (108) having a cylindrical portion (146) with a first rounded end (148a) and a second rounded end (148b). The gimbal ring (106), the first fitting (102), the second fitting (104), and the separable sealing element (108) define a fluid pathway. |
