PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of reducing a maintenance cost and enhancing a degree of freedom in designing a surface of a structure.SOLUTION: A lighting device, which is installed on a surface of a structure and of which the periphery is covered by a platy panel of a prescribed thickness, includes a lighting unit, a unit installation mechanism, a cover, and a cover installation mechanism. The lighting unit has a platy surface and emits illumination light. The unit installation mechanism has a frame member and a fixing member. The frame member surrounds at lease two mutually opposing sides of the periphery of the lighting unit. The fixing member fixes the lighting unit to the surface of the structure with the frame member interposed. The cover has a platy surface and is arranged on a front face side of the lighting unit, opposed to the surface side of the structure. The cover installation mechanism has a locking member for locking a part of the periphery of the cover and fixes the locking member by energizing to press the locking member to the frame member. |
