<p>The invention relates to a modular chassis (1) for a vehicle including: a front module (20) mounted onto the front of a central module (10) and comprising a first frame (21) designed to receive the front axle (5); a rear module (22) mounted onto the rear of the central module (10) and comprising a second frame (23) designed to receive the rear axle (6); said central module (10), which forms a platform which comprises at least a first front crossbeam (11) and a second rear crossbeam (12) connected to one another by at least three laterally distributed rails, including at least one left side rail (13), at least one right side rail (14), and at least one intermediate rail (15) located between the side rails and separated from the latter, characterised in that said intermediate rail(s) (15) are vertically set back under the top crest line (13S, 14S) of said side rails (13, 14). The chassis of the invention can be used for light electric-drive automobiles.</p> |
