PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective element for solving the problem in which: a high melting point solder containing Pb of melting point of 300°C or more is used for a soluble conductor in a reflow mounting type protective element; however the requirement for Pb-free will strengthen; and capable of achieving Pb-free using a laminated body having a high melting point metal layer and a low melting point metal layer.SOLUTION: A protective element 10 has an insulation substrate 11; a heating member 14; an insulation member 15; two electrodes 12; a heating member draw-out electrode 16; and a soluble conductor 13. The soluble conductor 13 consists of a laminated body having at least a high melting point metal layer 13a and a low melting point metal layer 13b, and the low melting point metal layer 13b melts due to the heat generated by the heating member 14 to be attracted to the heating member draw-out electrode 16 and two electrodes 12 side with a good wettability with the low melting point metal layer 13b by surface tension and be fused while corroding the high melting point metal layer 13a. |
