PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet separator 10 which causes less abrasion of driven rotors and driving rotors transmitting power and has high durability because a drum 42 is rotation-driven.SOLUTION: In a magnet separator 10, a grinding liquid K passing through a passage R for adsorption formed between the lower surface of a cylindrical outer peripheral surface 34 of a drum 42 and a partial cylindrical plate 72 is forced to fall from a notch 76 formed downstream of the lowest site of a non-opposed part of the partial cylindrical plate 72 located on a side-wall 16b side of a filtration vessel 16 with respect to the end of a cylindrical outer peripheral surface 34 of the drum 42 when flowing out to the non-opposed part of the partial cylindrical plate 72, and contact of an annular roller chain 40b fixed to the end surface of the drum 42 with the grinding liquid K is thereby controlled. As a result, promotion of abrasion of the annular roller chain 40b and a sprocket wheel 52 to be engaged in the annular roller chain 40b by abrasive grains contained in the grinding liquid K is controlled, leading to improvement of the durability of the magnet separator 10. |
