PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mult-panel type image display device capable of materializing fine image quality and a long life, by suppressing temperature rise in each unit panel, regardless of an orientation of each individual unit panel.SOLUTION: A multi-panel type image display device 1 is made by combining a plurality of unit panels 100. Each of the plurality of unit panels 100 includes: a display panel portion for displaying an image; a back surface cover provided so as to cover a surface of an opposite side of an image display surface of the display panel portion, and provided with a plurality of ventilation ports; a fan attached to at least one of the plurality of ventilation ports; a temperature detecting portion for detecting the temperature of the display panel portion; an angle detecting portion for detecting a rotation angle of a self unit panel about a virtual straight line orthogonal to the image display surface; and a control portion for controlling the drive of the fan on the basis of a detection result of the temperature detecting portion and a detection result of the angle detecting portion. |
