PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for attaching a core, capable of reducing working hour required for attaching the core.SOLUTION: In a device for attaching a core, the core 5 is attached to a perforated portion 13 formed in a fluid pipe 1 with a perforating member 23 while flow is uninterrupted, in a case body 3 which is externally fitted in a hermetically sealed state while a required space S which is formed to the outer peripheral surface of the fluid pipe 1. In the case body 3, a moving mechanism 4 is provided to previously position the core 5 to a retreated position in which the perforating member 23 is not prevented from moving, and to move the core 5 to a proper position in which the core 5 is attached to the perforated portion 13. |
