[Class 12 (i)] In the bearing described in the parent Spec - ification the wire 4 which prevents separation of the races 2, 3, is freely movable in the hollow space formed by the semicircular grooves in the race rings, and the ends of the wire are pointed or rounded off. To remove the wire one end 7 thereof has a hole or slot 9 for engagement with a hook 10. An aperture 6 through which the wire can be withdrawn may be in either race ring. |
