A method and a device for data block are disclosed. The method includes: setting sliding window that the sliding window is started to slide from previous data block ending position of waited segmentation block data object; determining whether the data feature value of the sliding window covering the current position is accord with a preset standard; if it does, data of the current covering position being divided the first data block; determining whether data length which the first data block starting position to previous data block ending position is greater than or equal to sliding window length; if it does, data which the first data block starting position to previous data block ending position generating second data block; if the length which the first data block ending position to data object waited segmentation ending position is greater than or equal to sliding window length, the sliding windows from the first data block ending position returning to determine whether accord with a preset standard step. |
