PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and quickly execute processing of generating a plurality of pieces of distributed data having asymmetrical data sizes from source data or processing of restoring source data from a plurality of pieces of distributed data having asymmetrical data sizes.SOLUTION: A distribution and restoration device 200 generates a plurality of pieces SD1 to SD3 of distributed data by dividing source data OD into a plurality of divided blocks DB1 to DB16 and using different combinations of divided blocks to perform exclusive OR operation. Combinations of divided blocks in respective distributed pieces of data include combinations including a divided block used in common in the plurality of pieces of distributed data and combinations including divided blocks used in only specific pieces of distributed data. Thus the distribution and restoration device 200 can quickly generate the plurality of pieces of safe distributed data of high information entropy.
