Portable electric lamp including a power supply and communication connector

The lamp has a power supply unit provided with a supply and communication connector i.e. male universal serial bus (USB)connector (62), and a fixing lace/strap connecting a front lighting device i.e. LED, to a back support unit (10). The unit has a power supply module (50) that comprises a removable fixing unit i.e. snapping fixing unit, to fix the module to the support unit for defining fixation and separation positions while forming a housing to receive and protect the connector in a fixation position. The support unit has a hollow pivoting cap (22) to receive the connector.
