PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray detection device capable of effectively shielding an X-ray other than a fluorescent X-ray from a sample after attaining miniaturization.SOLUTION: An X-ray detection device includes an X-ray irradiation unit 4, an X-ray detector 5, a movable collimator 2, and a shielding body 3 for shielding an X-ray. The shielding body 3 shields an X-ray to be directly made incident to the X-ray detector 5 from the X-ray irradiation unit 4. The shielding body 3 shields a fluorescent X-ray and a scattered X-ray to be generated when an X-ray is radiated to the collimator 2. Consequently, an X-ray other than the fluorescent X-ray from a sample S is prevented from being detected by the X-ray detector 5. The shielding body 3 is connected to the collimator 2, and the collimator 2 and the shielding body 3 are integrally moved. A position of the shielding body 3 is secured even in the miniaturized X-ray detection device. |
