PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device configured to reduce FRC noise, an image processing device, and an image display method.SOLUTION: A bit extraction part 161 extracts low-order bits from each of image signals of multiple colors, and outputs the extracted low-order bits to a modulation bit setting part 162. The bit extraction part 161 outputs the remaining high-order bits to a multi-level processing part 166. The modulation bit setting part 162 sets modulation bits, for each of the multiple colors, which represent whether to output a gray level determined by the high-order bits or a gray level one level higher than that, according to the extracted low-order bits, for each of successive time zones. A weighting part 163 weights the modulation bit set in the modulation bit setting part 162 according to a luminosity factor of each of the multiple colors. An averaging part 164 rearranges the modulation bits for each frame, for the multiple colors, so that the weighting values (total weighting value) are equalized in each of the time zones. |
