PURPOSE: A fixed wing of a steam turbine and a steam turbine using the same are provided to reduce the loss due to the supersonic speed induction, thereby improving the efficiency of the turbine. CONSTITUTION: A fixed wing of a steam turbine includes a rear side edge curve (10), a front end portion, and a source unit. The rear side edge curve is formed so that the amount of protrusion in the rotation direction of an operation wing continuously increases from the source unit of the fixed wing to the front end portion. The front end portion is inclined to the outer side of the steam turbine toward the downstream of the operation fluid flow from the location where the passage width between wings is minimized. The source unit is inclined to the inner circumferential side of the steam turbine from the upstream of the operation fluid flow toward the downstream.
