PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start voltage step-up at suitable timing in view of the balance between reduction of electric power consumption and travel response of a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: A control device 60 of a hybrid vehicle 100 comprising an internal combustion engine 4, an electricity storage device B, a voltage step-up device 20 capable of stepping up an output voltage output from the electricity storage device, an inverter 20 converting supply electric power supplied from the voltage step-up device into AC electric power, and a rotating electrical machine MG1 performing rotary driving by the AC electric power supplied from the inverter comprises: a start-up control means 61 driving the rotating electrical machine to start-up the internal combustion engine; and a voltage step-up control means 62 for controlling the voltage step-up device to start the output voltage step-up in a period from the peak of cranking electric power of the rotating electrical machine required for the start-up of the internal combustion engine to the completion of the start-up of the internal combustion engine. |
