PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire achieving both of improvement in a grip performance and improvement in high-speed durability.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a tread 4, a pair of sidewalls 6, a pair of beads 8, a carcass 10 bridged between the pair of beads 8, a belt 12 laminated on the carcass 10 and radially inside the tread 4, and a band 14 disposed radially outside the belt 12. At least one layer in the belt 12 includes a great number of arranged steel cords in parallel; each steel cord is a single-twisted cord composed of three or four filaments; and the filament has a diameter of 0.12 mm or more and 0.23 mm or less. The band 14 includes a cord comprising an aramid fiber and is disposed at least in a range from an end in a width direction of the tread 4 to a position inside at a distance of TW×0.16 from the end, wherein TW represents a width of the tread 4; and the aramid fiber has a gauge of 1,100 dtex or more and less than 2,100 dtex. |
