PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode, an electrochemical cell and an electrochemical analyzer for improving long-term stability of analytical data.SOLUTION: An action electrode 2, a counter electrode 3 and a reference electrode 4 are arranged in an electrochemical cell 1. The action electrode 2 is an electrode using a composite material obtained by dispersing and containing a metal oxide selected from zirconium oxide, tantalum oxide and niobium oxide in a base material composed of platinum or platinum alloy. The content ratio of the metal oxide in platinum or platinum alloy is 0.005 to 1 wt.% in terms of zirconium, tantalum and niobium. When the orientation rate (%) of the crystal orientation obtained by X-ray diffraction measurement of the electrode surface is defined as I(hkl)/&Sgr;I(hkl)×100 (provided that, I(hkl) is a diffraction intensity integration value of each surface and &Sgr;I(hkl) is the total sum of diffraction intensity integration values of (hkl)), the orientation rate of one crystal orientation out of a plurality of obtained crystal orientations is 80% or more. |
