PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metalized film capacitor having improvement of withstand voltage performance and advanced safety in a high-temperature region.SOLUTION: A metalized film capacitor comprises capacitor elements which are formed by winding or laminating metalized films each comprising a vapor deposition electrode provided on at least one surface of a dielectric film; and metallikon for electrode lead-out which is formed on both end faces of the capacitor elements. In the metalized film capacitor, segmented electrode portions which are segmented by multiple insulation slits in a longitudinal direction of the metalized films to form segmented electrodes, and non-segmented electrode portions which have a vapor deposition electrode continuous in the longitudinal direction, are alternately arranged in a film width direction of the metalized films. Each of the segmented electrodes is connected to the non-segmented electrode portions through fuses which are formed between ends of adjacent insulation slits. |
