PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organism optical measurement device that can acquire a light receiving amount information &Dgr;A by only blood vessel existing in the brain for example, even if a concentration change or the like of oxyhemoglobin in the blood vessel or the like existing in a skin synchronizes with a task.SOLUTION: An organism optical measurement device 1 includes: a first light receiving amount information acquisition part 21a that acquires first light receiving amount information &Dgr;A1 detected by a light receiving probe 14 separated with a first setting distance r1 from a light transmission probe 12; a second light receiving amount information acquisition part 21b that acquires second light receiving amount information &Dgr;A2 detected by a light receiving probe 13 separated with a second setting distance r2 from the light transmission probe 12; and a light receiving amount information calculation part 21d that calculates light receiving amount information &Dgr;A relating to brain activity by using the first light receiving amount information &Dgr;A1 and the second light receiving amount information &Dgr;A2. Moreover, the organism optical measurement device includes a compression mechanism 50 that compresses a vessel existing near a skin of a subject at a predetermined time interval. |
