PURPOSE: A method for automatically completing a text search formula and a system therefor are provided to complete a text search formula by using only a computer mouse, thereby easily operating a text search. CONSTITUTION: A display control unit (120) displays a text display view, which displays text data, on a display screen. When a mouse drags and clicks a specific word which is displayed on the text display view, a search word existence check unit (130) checks the existence of a search word which is inputted to a search window. When the search word does not exist, a text search formula completion unit (140) inputs the search word to the search window. When the search word exists, the text search formula completion unit completes a text search formula by adding an operator, which is set by a searcher, behind of the search word and adding the clicked search word.
