A SYSTEM AND THE METHOD FOR CLEANING HARMFUL GAS USING CORONA DISCHARGE AND CATALYST

PURPOSE: A toxic gas purifying device and a purifying method are provided to remove dust inside of the toxic gas, the bad smell and the organic compound etc with wet processing by the cleaning water and corona discharge and remove a residual harmful component which is in the Inside of the toxic gas by additionally performing the purification through a catalyst for removing the bad smell and a volatile organic compound. CONSTITUTION: A toxic gas purifying device comprises a chemical cleaning unit; a wet cleaning unit (200); a corona degrading unit (300); and a catalyst purifying unit (400). The wet cleaning unit sprays the cleaning water on the toxic gas. The corona degrading unit removes the harmful component inside the toxic gas by generating a corona discharge. The catalyst purifying unit removes the residual harmful component inside the toxic gas through the catalyst for removing the bad smell and the volatile organic compound. The chemical cleaning unit controls the load of the concentration of the toxic gas which is flowed in through the absorption liquid. The absorption liquid is the water or benzene with a surfactant, and toluene or xylene. The surfactant is either one from anionic surfactant, cationic surfactant, ampholytic surfactant and nonionic surfactant.
