CONSTITUTION: An adhesive tape for connecting carrier tapes the end parts of which are in contact with each other is wider than the width of the carrier tape and has an adhesive layer in a part where at least two of the surface of the carrier tape, one side, and the opposite side are in contact with each other. A connecting method of the carrier tapes includes a step of attaching the end parts of the carrier tape by folding and putting the adhesive tape projected from the side edge of the carrier tape into the opposite side of the carrier tape.
