<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cartridge having a structure capable of improving the volume efficiency of a fuel cell system while having sufficient capability for processing generated water and a by-product generated in an electromotive part, and to provide a fuel cell system provided with it. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell system, the fuel cartridge 2 is constituted in a dual structure provided with a body container 6 made of a rigid body and a flexible bag container 7 arranged in the body container 6. The bag container 7 is filled with fuel and serves as a fuel tank.
