PURPOSE: A contour form control method is provided to perform a convergence process for converging lens design and to allow the previous DMD show to be changed for repetition. CONSTITUTION: A control method for manufacturing an ophthalmic device through a contour forming device comprises following steps. A contour forming device receives a command for manufacturing an ophthalmic device. The ophthalmic device is manufactured by using the contour forming device based on the command. The ophthalmic device is measured. It determines whether the ophthalmic device follows the permissible level of a lens design. When the ophthalmic device does not follow the permissible level, a convergence process is performed so that the ophthalmic device converges on the lens design.
