PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure regulating valve in which a valve body can be opened/closed smoothly, and to provide a liquid droplet discharge device including the same.SOLUTION: A pressure regulating valve supplies a functional liquid supplied from a functional liquid supplying device to a primary chamber 75 to a secondary chamber 76 by adjusting pressure by the opening/closing operation of a valve body 84, and supplies the functional liquid from the secondary chamber 76 to an inkjet type functional liquid droplet discharge head. The valve body 84 includes: a valve body 94 that is arranged in the primary chamber 75 and is directly opened and closed with respect to a valve seat 83, and a valve holder 95 that comprises a holding part 97 for holding the valve body 94 and an operating shaft part 99 that coaxially extends through a communication flow path 78 from the holding part 97 and contacts a pressure receiving membrane body 73. The operating shaft part 99 is formed in a shape tapered toward the pressure receiving membrane body 73, and the communication flow path 78 is formed in a complementary shape with respect to the operating shaft part 99. |
