PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a lightweight and thin liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent the remaining phenomenon of a deposition film by using a glass substrate of which size is smaller than the size of a preliminary substrate. CONSTITUTION: A photoresist film (150) is coated on a deposition film (140). The deposition film is patterned. The size of a thin glass substrate (100) is smaller than the size of a preliminary substrate (110). The size difference is smaller than an edge bead remove (EBR) region. The deposition film deposited on the edge part of the glass substrate is completely removed. |
