PURPOSE: A deodorant composition having a plant essential oil as an active ingredient is provided to contain the essential oil obtained from Menthae herba or cornus fruit as the active ingredient and effectively removing odor components such as formaldehyde, ammonia, and methyl mercaptan. CONSTITUTION: A deodorant composition contains an essential oil obtained from Menthae herba or cornus fruit as an active ingredient. The essential oil obtained from Menthae herba or cornus fruit removes odor components such as formaldehyde, ammonia, and methyl mercaptan. 0.2-20 weight% of the essential oil is included based on the total weight of the composition.
