PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element manufacturing method which can manufacture a high efficiency and long-life organic EL element simply, as well as provide an organic EL device.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method for an organic EL element comprising a first electrode 201 formed on a substrate 200, a luminescent medium layer formed on the first electrode 201, and a second electrode 207 opposed via the luminescent medium layer to the first electrode 201, the luminescent medium layer including an organic luminescent layer 205 and an organic layer (hole transport layer 203) formed between the organic luminescent layer 205 and the first electrode 201. A poor solvent 204 which exhibits low solubility against an organic material forming the organic layer is coated on the organic layer and then, before the poor solvent 204 evaporates, an organic luminescent material 205a is coated on the organic layer to form the organic luminescent layer 205. |
