PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of allowing the inclination of a worm shaft to a worm wheel, allowing the movement of the worm shaft relative to the worm wheel, and suppressing the occurrence of contact sounds in a connection between the worm shaft and a motor shaft.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device includes an electric motor, a reduction gear, a shaft joint 50, and a second elastic member. The shaft joint 50 includes an inner race 45, an outer race 26, a transmitter 52, and a first elastic member 51. The first elastic member 51 is mounted on a spring fitting-in part 26A of the outer race 26. The transmitter 52 is arranged between the inner race 45 and the outer race 26. The movement of the transmitter 52 in a rotating direction R relative to the inner race 45 and the outer race 26 is restricted by the first elastic member 51. The movement of the transmitter 52 in an axial direction Z relative to the inner race 45 is allowed. |
