PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding system in which there is no need to stop an image forming apparatus even when glue is put additionally.SOLUTION: A bookbinding system 100 includes: an image forming apparatus 200 which forms images on body paper to be bound into a book; a bookbinding apparatus 300 which binds the body paper brought in from the image forming apparatus 200 into a book; and a control part 282 which controls the image forming apparatus 200 and the bookbinding apparatus 300. The bookbinding apparatus 300 is provided with a glue container 364 which contains molten glue L to be applied to the spine side of the body paper. The control part 282 controls a glue supplying part 366 so that the bookbinding apparatus 300 may perform operations for supplying solid glues S when the image forming apparatus 200 interrupts operation because of specific errors. |
