PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural member of a power storage device which achieves high dimension accuracy, excellent impact resistance, and high sealing reliability and makes leakage of an electrolyte less likely to occur, and to provide a manufacturing method of the structural member.SOLUTION: A frame like structural member 5 used as a housing of a power storage device 10 and having a first opening and a second opening is formed by a ceramic porous burned body 1 having pore portions 2, and a resin 3a fills the pore portions 2. After ceramic material powder is molded to form a frame like molded body having the first opening and the second opening, the molded body is burned to form the ceramic porous burned body 1 having the pore portions 2. Then, the pore portions 2 of the ceramic porous burned body 1 are impregnated with an uncured liquid resin 3b and the liquid resin 3b is cured. |
