[Classes 75 (iii) and 75 (iv)] A forehead lamp for medical use consists of a housing comprising a hemispherical portion a and two tubular portions a<1>, a<2> arranged at 90 degrees containing an incandescent bulb c, a condenser lens b, a mirror e, and projecting lenses h<1>, h'. The portion a<1> is formed with ventilating apertures a<4> staggered in respect to apertures d<1> in a surrounding casing d carrying the contacts g<1>, g<2> for the electric supply cable g. The lenses h<1>, h<2> are carried by a tube h adjustably axially in the portion a<2>. The portion i<2> on pivoted to a bracket i mounted by a slide i<2> on a crossbar k' on the head band k. A mounting allowing vertical or pivotal adjustment of the bracket on the headband may be employed. |
