An ROV deployable clamp 10 to attach monitoring equipment to the exterior surface of a subsea structure 12 comprises two main plastics body portions 30, 31, a pivot joint 18, a pair of ROV grips 54 and a biasing means 20. The main body portions are pivotably connected for gripping and disengaging the exterior of a subsea structure at the pivot joint and each of the main body portions comprise a jaw portion 14, 16 and a handle portion 22, 24. The biasing means bias the jaw portions into the engaged position. The ROV grips 54 are fixed to the handle portions 22,24, and opposite one another on the top of the joint so that the ROV grips features may be squeezed together to hold the main body portions in the disengaged position or released to enable the biasing means to move the jaw portions into the engaged position. |
