The filter has a longitudinal housing presenting an opening at one of its ends, and two filtering elements (3, 4) that are inserted in the housing via the opening. Each of the filtering elements includes an assembly unit (5) e.g. metal section, adapted to engage at the time of abutment of the filtering elements to associate with the filtering elements in translation according to a longitudinal direction (Z). The assembly units are adapted to disengage during a relative displacement of the filtering elements according to a direction approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
